Blue Collar Muscle –  Bodybuilding Tips For Those Hard Working Men and Women Who Want To Build Muscle and Lose Fat

Many of us don’t have the luxury of being able to focus all of our attention on bodybuilding. Unless your getting paid by a sponsor or making some serious cash doing bodybuilding shows, you almost have to have a stable job to afford the necessities that are needed to having a good body. Following bodybuilding tips helps you have it all. Work, social life and the best body.

Assuming most of us work the typical eight hour job, how do we achieve a balance between work, bodybuilding, and all the other things we deal with on a daily basis. This article was written for bodybuilders who want to bodybuild as well as work a full time job.

When we come home from work, most of us feel too tired to even cook dinner, let alone exercise. Not only do we have to motivate ourselves to put down the remote and hop on the treadmill, but we also have to sacrifice some things for the sake of bodybuilding.

Balancing Life

We have to develop a balance between our jobs, bodybuilding, family, and our social life. Who wouldn’t rather go to a club with a group of friends instead of going to the gym putting yourself through an hour of torture? This is when dedication becomes very important.

When we workout we already create a bit of discipline for ourselves so making sacrifices is just a part of the game. It’s going to become tougher to maintain that discipline when working a job full time because of all the added stress a job can do to you.

You have to be able to persevere through all the obstacles. Once you do that, you will feel on top of the world once you achieve your fitness goals. Just don’t get cocky and have to restart the process all over again. Set yourself up with a goal to improve on the goal you just met and never become satisfied.

Most Competing Bodybuilders Still Work Full Time Jobs or Run Businesses, How Do They Do It ?

The easy straightforward answer; a plan and commitment. So how can you accomplish any of your fitness goals when your locked up a job eight to ten hours a day? It’s very simple, get organized. Write down everything you can do to achieve your goals. You also need to write down everything that gets in your way of achieving those goals and always look for a way forward.

If your job is manual labor where it is physically demanding then you should consider work as part of your training routine. That way you kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Find out how many calories you’ve burnt throughout the day working and replenish your glycogen stores during and after work. Then you can exercise some of the muscle groups you didn’t hit at work and you will feel good about yourself for making an attempt to better yourself.

You are going to have days where you feel overworked, stressed, and feel that everything in the world is coming down on you. These are the days when you should treat yourself to something out of the ordinary like a cheat meal or consider going out to the club with a group of friends. Top bodybuilding tips to remember-just keep everything in moderation. You can accomplish anything you want in life if you stick to your plan of attack and stay focused.

No Equipment and No Gym ? Get Innovative !

Most of us have the problem of choosing what type of equipment to use in the gym, while others ponder ways to even be able to train in the first place. Even if you don’t have access to a gym, there are plenty of alternatives that can help you get a great body without spending a fortune on gym fees.

If you’re a teen whose parents won’t buy you a gym membership, someone who doesn’t feel like driving a long distance to be able to train, or even a person who feels more comfortable training at home, then this article is for you.

Now you’ve decided you want to train at home but there is only one problem. You don’t have any equipment that you can use to pump out exercises with. Now is when you need to get creative and think of something you can use as an alternative to dumbbells.

Bodybuilding Tips: Anything Can Be A Weight!

Milk jugs, laundry detergent, gym bags, paint cans, and books can all become useful if needed. There are also many different bodyweight exercises you can perform if you enjoy training that way. Switch things up, create a good split just like your would if you had good equipment, and most importantly, have fun doing it!

Bodybuilders love their cardio but it can become very difficult when mother nature decides to have a bad day. Most cardio machines are also very expensive so not all of us have the ability to just hop on a treadmill on days like this. Look for a jump rope or anything that can be used as one.

Do jumping jacks, burpees, or walk around inside. You could even do some household chores like vacuuming the floor or anything that makes you get up and move. If you want to do cardio bad enough, you will find a way to do it no matter what.

Bodybuilding Tips: Cardio Training

When doing cardio I always need to do some sort of weight lifting or bodyweight exercises to get an adequate supply of testosterone in my body. That is why I created my own style of training that is very different from all of the other ways I’ve read about.

When jogging around in my basement or doing jumping jacks, I’ll stop every five minutes and do an exercise I have listed down on what I want to accomplish for the day. I`ll then continue my jog and repeat this cycle until the 45 minutes are up. I then stretch, have my post workout meal and call it quits for the day.

Not having any equipment or access to a gym can give you a good excuse not to start exercising or even quit working out altogether. I hope this article will help people realize that you can obtain a decent body without having to deal with the financial drain that comes with using good equipment. Something is better than nothing. If you “ve never exercised in your life and you do five push-ups today. You`re better than you were yesterday. REMEMBER THAT

Wealth Vs. Health

Some of us bodybuilders come from backgrounds where money doesn’t allow us to accomplish our fitness goals as fast as we’d like. Without money you can’t afford good gym equipment, the right foods, and even supplements. When you’re living in poverty you have to do everything possible to accomplish your goals without worrying about your financial problems.

I came from a family where our income was always good. During my late teen years my parents ran into some medical problems and our family income wasn’t very good. With severe depression at the time and couldn’t maintain a solid job.

I felt that the world was coming down on me and that I wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything in this sport. Only training with bodyweight exercises and two 20 pound dumbbells. The only healthy food I had access to were peas, oats, eggs, and orange juice for post workout. I didn’t have much but I had due with what I had.

Bodybuilding Tips: Overcoming Obstacles

You have to have a little bit of money to accomplish anything in bodybuilding. When your almost living in poverty it will become much easier once you learn to accept it and do your best to overcome your financial problems. You can start by writing down ways to bring in an income no matter what type of education or background you’ve came from.

You need to set small attainable goals just like you would in bodybuilding. The more time you spend looking for money, the less time you have to worry about your body. The key word here is balance. You need to develop ways to find a balance between wealth and health.

When I first started bodybuilding I was overweight and had no self-esteem to even get up and find a job. My confidence levels skyrocketed once I started seeing results and it also gave me the mindset that anything is possible. Your financial status will vary depending on how big your goals are.

If your goal is to become the next Olympia you won’t be able to afford much but if you just bodybuilding to be healthy, then you can become successful in almost anything you do just using the methods you’ve used to accomplish great results with your body.

Wealth and health go together but at the same time they are the exact opposite. Goals, family commitments, social support, are all different factors when it comes to dealing with how much you can spend on bodybuilding. You almost have to spend a little bit of money on making yourself better but the investment is worth it. Just remember that I came from nothing and if I can go on to become somewhat successful, you can to.

Balancing Business and Health

Life can be rough and sometimes you need to be able to organize your thoughts to make everything better. You can become focused on one thing and forget about the other priorities in your life. I am going to explain the importance of keeping a balance between bodybuilding, work, and life. Your also going to learn a few natural techniques than can be used to keep your life in balance.

Being fit is crucial to being able to handle all the obstacles you come across on a daily basis. It gives you the ability to perform better at your job and also gives you the confidence to have a good social life. The best way to improve your health is by bodybuilding, but participating in a recreational sport such as basketball, is a step to improving your health as well. This will put you in a social setting that you feel comfortable in and also gives you the ability to make a couple of new friends that share the same interests.

Having a positive social life is one of the most important factors in a person’s life. It makes everything you do worthwhile and makes you realize that others are going through the same problems as you are. You may also find the love of your life when your out with your friends. Nobody wants to be with a hermit so you have to fit some sort of social fun into your busy life or you’re going to live a long, lonely life.

Bodybuilding Tips: Be Comfortable

What you can do to become more social will depend on your values and who you feel most comfortable around. You only know what type of person you are and what makes you comfortable. A bodybuilder wouldn’t feel right at a golf course. A car mechanic wouldn’t feel comfortable being around a bunch of computer wizzes.

Learning who you feel good around takes time and a lot of maturity on your part to realize you can’t be friends with everybody. It’s the same way at a job, you can’t just fill out an application somewhere because your desperate for a job. You need to know what the job does, the type of people you`ll be working with, and how well you will fit in with the rest of the crew.

Work can become your worst enemy if you let it. If you hate your job and the people you work with, of course you’re going to have a negative attitude towards your job. Sure making money is nice, but when you start questioning yourself, “what am I doing here,” you have a problem.

There are also other problems a job can bring. If you have a bad boss, work around negative people, work long hours, and can’t handle the stress involved with the job, then you need to take a step back and develop a list of ways you can start to feel better.

Are you getting enough sleep, are you exercising, are you spending enough or too much time with friends and family, eating right? You can also try yoga or some other kind of meditation practice, which are all good alternatives to seeing a therapist or some doctor who just wants to take your money.

Finding the Perfect Balance

You don’t want to do too much or too little of anything. Everything has a happy medium and you need to incorporate the practice of balancing into your everyday life.Again, you need to write down things you do on a daily basis and decide what things your doing in excess and develop ways to cut back on what is customary.

Too much of a good thing is just as bad as a repetitive bad habit and is important for you to realize. Life isn’t easy and it takes a lot of time to improve on it but taking small, gradual steps to improvement is the only way to achieving anything. Until Next Time, cya!

Traveling ? Working Out On The Go

Despite all of the busy airplane lines, cramped hotel rooms, and uneasy feelings of meeting new people, staying fit while traveling is easier than most people realize. If you are motivated enough to stay fit then there is no doubt that you will achieve whatever you want.

Okay so now I’m motivated, but what will help me maintain a decent physique while i`m 500 miles from home? You are going to learn the basics of bodybuilding while traveling and be able to use this information to your advantage.

The equipment you choose is going to be one of the toughest choices you make because access to gym equipment may not become available. You are going to have to be creative and develop a split based on your goals. Push Ups will work your front delts and chest and is a good way to get your heart rate elevated.

Bodybuilding Tips: Remember to Pack A Few Essentials

Squats and lunges will work your quads, glutes and hamstrings. Dips from a chair with feet on the floor will work your triceps. Jumping rope for 2 – 3 minutes will get your sweat flowing so don’t forget to pack a jump rope in your suitcase before leaving.

The other part of the bodybuilding equation is eating right. Before you leave and are hitting up the local grocery store, you should be shopping for protein bars, canned tuna, chicken breasts, eggs. Just make sure you remember to refrigerate the eggs and freeze the chicken breasts. When packing your meals, you need to choose foods that are slow digesting and have an adequate amount of protein.

Vegetables contain a numerous supply of vitamins and minerals and they also keep you energized throughout the day. Sandwiches may be frozen overnight and will be ready to eat by lunch time the next day. For the bread, you should be eating whole grain breads but it also must freeze well. Be sure to also drink just enough water to satisfy and do not go overboard. You don’t want to be having to urinate every ten minutes or you’re vacation will start to become a nightmare.

If you have ankle weights, use them to add resistance to your exercises or stick them to your wrists if your dumbbell is not heavy enough. Make sure that you watch your diet, if you eat more than you should, add more jumping jack sessions to burn the extra calories. How well you sleep will depend on many factors and will vary from person to person. You may want to pack some Tylenol PM just in case. Follow these bodybuilding tips for when your on the road for the most success.

Bodybuilding Tips: Motivation

As I stated previously, being motivated is the only way you are going to be able to maintain a decent body while you’re on the road. I see way to many people who are into fitness, go on vacation, gain five pounds, and come back wondering what had happened.

You do not want to be one of these people. Doing this can also make you quit bodybuilding altogether just from the week vacation you took . On the road, do whatever you can do, it doesn’t matter if it’s very little exercise, that’s still better than doing none since you keep your mind trained that it needs to be exercising.
